Dwaine G. Meyer, 73 of Navarre passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Massillon, the son of the late Walter and Mildred Martin Meyer and had been a life resident. He retired after 42 years in the heat treating department at Eaton Mfg. Massillon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by 2 brothers , James and Richard. Surviving are his wife, Betty J. Wade Meyer, whom he married Feb. 8, 1962; 2 sons and daughter in law, Dwaine F. Meyer II of Navarre, Todd William (Christina) Meyer of Lake Mohawk; 1 daughter and son in law, Sherry Ann (Tim) Nicholas of Massillon, 6 grandchildren Michael, Tanya, Adam, Eric, Alicia and Chase and 1 great granddaughter, Nevaeh; sisters and brother, Karen Ford, Robert (Carol) Meyer, Cheryl Joseph, Nola (Joseph) Kircher, and sister in law, Norma Meyer.. A celebration of Dwaine’s life will be held, Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City. Interment will be made in East Union Lawn Cemetery, Navarre.
