Martha L. Knight, 64 of Beach City passed away, Monday, November 13, 2017 at Aultman Compassionate Care, Canton . She was born at Dover, the daughter of the late Leo and Naomi Slayman Pickar and had been a life resident of the area. A homemaker, Martha was a member of the First Baptist Church, at New Philadelphia. She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Knight, whom she married June 10, 1972 of the residence; 1 son and daughter in law, Roger (Tee) Knight of Canton and 1 daughter and son in law, Shelley (Zach) Knight-Bourn of Jackson Twp;. 4 sisters, Naomi (Jerry) France, Ruth Farnsworth, Donna Bayer, Noberta Edwards and 1 brother, David Pickar. She was preceded by 2 brothers and 3 sisters and 1 grandson, Nigel Bourn. A celebration of Martha’s life will be held, Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City with Pastor Todd Gopp . Inurnment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call Monday, November 20, 2017 from 10 to 11 A.M.
