Francis H. Howell, 68 a resident several weeks at Schoenbrunn Healthcare , New Philadelphia, Oh., formerly of Frogtown at Newcomerstown, Oh., passed away November 30, 2010 following a 3 year illness. He was born at Barnsville, Oh., the son of J. Blanche Howell of Brewster and the late Howard R. Howell. Francis was an Air Force (Viet Nam) Veteran. He retired in 1995 from Ashland Oil, Canton where he was a welder. In addition to his mother, he is survived by 1 son and daughter in law, Craig and Rachel Howell of Fresno; 1 granddaughter, Anissa Jo Howell; 1 sister, Beverly (Wayne) McFarren of Beach City and friends Marilyn Von Allman, Dick Powell, and Tip Chaney. He was preceded by 1 son, Shawn Howell; 3 brothers, Les, Jim and Pat Howell. There are no service or calling hours. Cremation is being handled by Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City.
