Mary Louise Merry

Mary L. Merry 83, of Beach City passed on to be with her heavenly father Tuesday, December 25, 2012. She was born in Harrisburg, OH to the late Rienhart and Philomena Kullman Schott. Mary enjoyed being a member of St. Clement Church where she participated in the Alter Rosary Society, Church Choir, and Church Volunteer Work, and a member of the Massillon Womens Club. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters; Leona Kindler and Eva Helena Dowdy, and 4 brothers; Earl Schott, Bernard Schott, Ralph Schott, and Bob Schott, and 2 grandsons; Brian and Dustin. Mary is survived by her loving husband Richard F. Merry who she married, June 7, 1947, also surviving are her 8 children; Marlene (Thomas) Tinlin of Canton, Cathie (Rick) McHenry of Massillon, Roger (Nancy deceased) Merry of Beach City, Donna (Randy) Sampsel of Massillon, Richard P. (Mary Ann) Merry of Beach City, Chuck (Patti deceased) Merry of Beach City, Joe Merry of Brewster and Monica Merry of Beach City, and 18 living grandchildren and numerous great greandchildern and 1 sister; Freda Archer of North Canton, and 1 brother; Omer Schott of Beach City. The family wishes to thank the wonderful care givers for thier attentive care. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, St. Clement, E. Wooster St., Navarre with Father Mike Seifert officiating. Internment will be made in St. Clement Cemetery, Navarre. Friends may call Friday, December 28, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. or from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the funeral home, 230 2nd Ave SE, Beach City.
