Tommy J. Loy, 45, of Canton passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2012 following a brief illness. He was born at Dover, Oh., the son of the late Ross Jack and Anna Mae Carrel Loy. He had been an engineer with Norfolk Southern Railroad, Williamson, W. Va./ Fort Wayne, Ind. Surviving are his wife, Melissa Skelly Loy; children, Jennifer, Cassidy, Kaden and Kyler Loy; siblings, Peggy Lutes, Patty Jones, Edward Loy, David Loy and Shirley Cook. Friends may call Wednesday August 8, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City. Inurnment will be made at a later date.
